Upper Flint Water Planning Region
The Upper Flint Water Planning Region covers an area of approximately 4,349 square miles in western Georgia and includes parts of four major river basins-Chattahoochee, Flint, Suwannee, and Ocmulgee. In 2005, an estimated population of 237,689 (3 percent of the State's population), lived in the thirteen counties of the area including Crisp, Dooly, Macon, Marion, Meriwether, Pike, Schley, Spalding, Sumter, Talbot, Taylor, Upson, and Webster.
