Lower Flint-Ochlockonee Water Planning Region
The Lower Flint-Ochlocknee Water Planning Region covers an area of approximately 6,004 square miles in southwestern Georgia and includes parts of four major river basins-Chattahoochee, Flint, Ochlocknee, and Suwannee. In 2005, an estimated population of 361,806 (4 percent of the State's population), lived in the fourteen counties of the area including Baker, Calhoun, Colquitt, Decatur, Dougherty, Early, Grady, Lee, Miller, Mitchell, Seminole, Terrell, Thomas, and Worth.
