SITE INFORMATION
Chattahoochee River at Settles Br. Rd near Suwanee, GA (02334550)

LOCATION.--Lat 34o05.54", long 84o06.36", Forsyth-Gwinnett County line, Hydrologic Unit 03130001, at the abandonned bridge at the end of Settles Bridge Road, 1.3 mi upstream from Level Creek, 1.9 mi downstream from James Creek, 3.8 mi north northwest of Suwanee, and at mile 343.6.

DRAINAGE AREA.--1,070 mi2.

MICROBIAL DATA:
PERIOD OF RECORD.--March 1999 to present.
COOPERATION.--Water-quality samples collected with assistance of National Park Service.
CHEMICAL DATA:
PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1977 to December 1977.
STREAM DISCHARGE DATA:
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Not a gaged site.
REMARKS.--Flow regulated by Lake Sidney Lanier (USGS station 02334400). Return flows above station by City of Buford (Gwinnett County).
