Surface water and ground water are used for water supply in the Savannah area. The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with local, State, and other Federal agencies, monitors streamflow, ground-water levels, and ground-water quality in the vicinity of Savannah. Three tide gages are located in the vicinity of the Port of Savannah. Click on a site number to view a hydrograph and other information about that monitoring site.
